Wodehouse Terrace, 2024, Falmouth

A rear side return extension for a mid-terraced Victorian house.

We were approached by our client to create additional living space, improve natural light, and reinvigorate the classic Victorian terrace layout.

 

The extension created a large kitchen, dining, and living space, bathed in natural light and enhanced the flow of the ground-floor spaces and their connection with the garden.

The design used Douglas fir rafters, solar reactive triple glazing, polished concrete floors, reclaimed brick and the owner's extensive plant collection to create a warm and contemporary addition to the period property.
